Cost and total turnaround
Polish packages cover a specific MSZ procedure; education and preliminary operations have separate terms.
290/390/990 zł are the retained MSZ packages per document, including the 60 zł fee. Times refer to the MSZ stage; NAWA, replacements, court certification, translation and extra delivery have separate estimates.
The estimate separately identifies preparation, fees, replacement issuance, prior certification, translation and delivery, including what is included or charged extra. If apostille is unnecessary, we agree the appropriate set without that extra operation.
The full timescale includes preparation and authorisation, obtaining missing documents, queues, authority processing, translation and shipping. We confirm the starting point and express availability after checking the set.
Polish documents / MSZ
Packages for one eligible document certified by Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The 60 zł MSZ fee is included. NAWA and other education-authority services are priced separately.
These times apply to the MSZ stage after receipt of the appropriate set and agreement on submission. Replacement issuance, court and education procedures, translation and shipping add time and may cost extra. We confirm express availability before ordering; 24 hours is not a NAWA apostille timescale.

From preliminary checks to return of the agreed document set, without your travelling to the issuing country.
For notarial or court documents, we allow for prior court certification. Education requires selection of NAWA, kurator, OKE, MEN or MKiDN. MSZ is not the universal authority for every Polish document.
Does your submission need an apostille
For a Polish document, we first check the destination country and category. Apostille is not required for every submission abroad.
For Ukraine and Russia we check Article 15 of the bilateral treaties; for Belarus, Article 11. Regulation 2016/1191 covers the listed personal public documents for authorities in another EU country, not all diplomas or powers of attorney. Criminal-record certificates also require a nationality check.
If apostille is requested despite an applicable exemption, ask the recipient for its basis in writing.
Where to obtain an apostille for Polish documents
The five categories have different competent authorities. The table applies after checking whether apostille is necessary.
| Category | Competent authority | Accepted document | Preliminary step and result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Civil registry / USC | Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MSZ) | Official paper USC document | Detail checks; MSZ apostille if no exemption applies |
| Education | NAWA / kurator oświaty / OKE / MEN / MKiDN according to institution and document type | Official diploma, certificate, school-leaving or examination document | First identify the authority: universities usually use NAWA; school, examination and arts documents have separate routes |
| Criminal record / KRK | MSZ | Official paper Krajowy Rejestr Karny certificate | Obtain the proper KRK certificate, followed by MSZ apostille if needed; an electronic-response printout does not replace paper KRK |
| Notarial documents | Competent regional court (sąd okręgowy), then MSZ | Notarial document | Prior court certification of the notary's signature, then MSZ apostille |
| Court documents | Competent regional court, then MSZ | Properly issued court document | Prior certification by the competent court; apostille does not replace recognition or enforcement of the judgment |

Original, copy or reissued document
We start preparation with a photograph or scan and choose the submission document according to authority and recipient rules.
How to obtain an apostille without visiting the office
Document issuance, apostille submission and collection are separate actions with different requirements.
Translation and authentication order
The order depends on whose signature needs certification and what the recipient accepts.
If consular legalisation is applicable, we agree it separately. Translation, authentication and recognition of document contents serve different purposes.
How to verify an issued apostille
We check the completed certification and full set before return and submission.
Authentication errors and rejection
If a document is returned, we first establish the specific reason and the stage where the problem arose.
Order terms specify how to report an issue and the scope of corrections for company errors. Acceptance by every institution is not guaranteed.
Official rules for obtaining an apostille
The grounds and procedures were checked in saved research on 9 October 2026. Before proceeding, we confirm the chosen authority's rules and recipient's requirements.
